Grills & Outdoor Cooking
Take Your Backyard Cooking to the Next Level
There’s nothing better than cooking and gathering outdoors, and with the right grill setup, your backyard can become the ultimate place to entertain. At Cincinnati Pool and Patio, we offer a wide selection of high-quality grills and outdoor cooking equipment designed for performance, durability, and great results.
Whether you’re a weekend griller or a serious BBQ enthusiast, our team will help you find the perfect setup to match your style.
See the grills in person before you buy
A grill is one of those things a spec sheet is bad at describing. Lid weight, how solid the cart feels when you lean on it, whether the grates are heavy enough to hold heat, how far you have to reach across a hot surface to get at the back burner. You learn all of that in about ten seconds standing in front of one, and none of it from a photo.
Ours are on the floor at 10731 Reading Road, in Evendale between Glendale Milford Road and Sharon Road, a couple of miles east of I-75. Open the lids, pull the grates out, and compare them side by side.
We have been selling backyard equipment here since 1966, so if you would rather describe how you cook and let someone point you at the right two or three, that works as well. Call 513-554-0000 or get in touch before you drive over if you want to be sure something specific is on the floor.
How to narrow it down
Most people arrive trying to choose between gas, charcoal and a smoker, when the more useful question is how they actually cook.
If you grill on weeknights and want to be eating within half an hour, gas wins on convenience and it is not close. If the cooking is the point of the afternoon and you want the flavor that only comes off coals, charcoal earns its extra effort. If you want to put something on in the morning and leave it alone, that is a smoker, and it is a different hobby rather than a better grill.
After that it comes down to size and where it will live. Cooking area matters more than burner count, and the honest test is how many people you feed on a normal weekend, not the once-a-year party. Anything permanent is worth planning alongside the rest of the space, and our outdoor kitchen and grill store page covers the components that go around it.
Find the Right Grill for Your Backyard
Choosing the right grill depends on how you like to cook. We carry a variety of options to fit every preference and experience level.

Gas Grills
Quick, convenient, and easy to use, gas grills are perfect for everyday cooking and entertaining. We carry Napoleon and Fire Magic, and the differences in burner layout and build are easier to judge in person than on a spec sheet.

Charcoal Grills
For those who love that classic smoky flavor, charcoal grills offer a more traditional grilling experience.

Smokers & Specialty Grills
Take your cooking to the next level with smokers and specialty grills designed for low-and-slow cooking and bold flavor.

Build Your Outdoor Cooking Space
Upgrade your setup with accessories and features that make outdoor cooking even better:
- Grill tools and accessories

- Storage and prep space
- Covers and maintenance products
Whether you’re creating a simple grill station or a full outdoor kitchen, we’ll help you design a setup that works for your space.
Quality You Can Count On
We carry Napoleon and Fire Magic. Both are built to be bought once: heavy lids that hold their heat through an Ohio winter, grates with real weight to them, and finishes that still look right years on. Come and see them in the showroom, and our team will help you match a grill to how you actually cook rather than to a spec sheet.
Grill buying questions
Where can I see grills in person near Cincinnati?
Our showroom is at 10731 Reading Rd in Evendale, and the grills are set up so you can lift the lid, lean on the cart and feel how heavy the grates are before you decide. Walk in any day we are open. We have been in the Cincinnati market since 1966.
What kinds of grills do you carry?
We carry Napoleon and Fire Magic. Gas grills for quick weeknight cooking, charcoal grills for that classic smoky flavor, and smokers and specialty grills for low-and-slow cooking. We also stock grill tools and accessories, outdoor kitchen components, storage and prep space, and covers and maintenance products.
Should I get a gas grill, a charcoal grill or a smoker?
The more useful question is how you actually cook. If you grill on weeknights and want to be eating within half an hour, gas wins on convenience. If the cooking is the point of the afternoon and you want the flavor that only comes off coals, charcoal. If you want to run something low and slow for hours, a smoker. Come in and we will talk it through.
